Scientific Research in Gabon's National Parks

Gabon's system of protected areas covers over 11% of the country's territory, and the Agence Nationale des Parcs Nationaux (ANPN) is committed to basing conservation action on high quality scientific data.  Scientific research geared to informing park management decisions and national conservation strategies is an important part of ANPN's  mission and ANPN is keen to encourage strategic research that will benefit the parks, its wildlife and habitats.
